Cabin 4: The New Cabin

The New Cabin was built in 2019 to replace the oldest cabin on the property. It’s a step up from the fishing cabins of old, with four bedrooms, a spacious open kitchen, a sun room, a reading loft, and a west-facing balcony for morning coffee and evening sunsets. It’s a great base for large gatherings or anyone seeking more creature comforts in lake country. Sleeps 6-8.

Cabin 1

For most of Carlson’s history, Cabin 1 has been the place to be, sitting in the middle of the property and — until the New Cabin came along — featuring the largest dining area for group meals. It has two bedrooms and a sleeper futon, high ceilings, a stone fireplace, and views overlooking the lake. Sleeps 4-6.

Cabin 2

Cabin 2 is little changed from the classic fisherman’s cabin it was back in the 1940s. We’ve added indoor plumbing and electricity, but otherwise it retains the rustic charm of a lake cabin from yesteryear. Cabin 2 features two bedrooms, a small kitchen, and a stone fireplace. Sleeps 4.

Cabin 3: The Beach Cabin

A perennial favorite of all the kids who grew up with summer vacations at Carlson’s, the Beach Cabin sits just off the beach looking westward over the water. At night fall asleep to the waves, and in the morning be first one in the lake. Sleeps 4.
